2) click on “Download search toolbar” and load the one that will work best with your computer.

3) type “Highland Environmental Education Coalition” in the Charities box.

4) USE THE BAR!
Every time you search from the toolbar HEEC earns money $$$$$ !!!

BREAKING NEWS

The Highland Environmental Education Coalition (HEEC) is pleased to announce that Actor/
Environmentalist, Ed Begley Jr. is coming to Highland Sam J. Racadio Library and Environmental Learning Center on July 28, 2008. Ed will be giving a lecture in the library’s new Community Room, from 6:30pm -7:30pm, which will be followed by a book signing from 7:30pm-8pm.

HEEC will be selling Ed’s book entitled, “Living Like Ed: A guide to the Eco-Friendly Life,” for $19.39. All proceeds help HEEC funding programs and workshops offered by the Environmental Learning Center. Books may be purchased in advance.

BOOKFAIR FUNDRAISER

The Highland Environmental Education Coalition (HEEC) has teamed up with Redlands Barnes & Noble for a bookfair fundraiser. Shop at Barnes and Noble from July 28 -31, 2008 and HEEC will receive a percentage of the total sales.

Be sure and present your bookfair voucher to the cashier at the time of purchase or mention to the cashier that you would like your purchase to count towards HEEC’s bookfair.

If you shop at Barnes & Noble on July 28, 2008 between 4-6pm, you will have an opportunity to meet Actor/Environmentalist Ed Begley Jr.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Highland Environmental Education Coalition is twofold:

1. Support the Environmental Learning Center with fundraising activities for environmental education materials, programs, and support resources for the new building;

2. Provide volunteer efforts to support the Center's environmental education programs and activities for children, teens and adults. The Coalition is open to public membership on an annual basis, and is run by a volunteer board elected by the members.
