Wrap at Highland ELC Commuity Room on Saturday,
December 19, 2009 10:00 am-4:00pm.
Bring in your gifts to be wrapped
the eco-friendly way by HEEC and ELC Staff! Recycled boxes
and packing materials decorated with bows made from old calendars
and magazines make an eye catching eco-friendly statement
at any holiday get-together!
Learn to make your own envelopes
from recycled paper and enjoy a slide-show with tips for "greening"
your holiday season while you wait.
All donations to support the
programs and exhibits of the ELC.
In July the Environmental Learning
Center created new programs for children, teens, adults and families.
From story hour, to animals, to science experiments there is a
new program for every patron!
Check out our Programs page above for details!

Mission Statement
The mission of the Highland Environmental Education
Coalition is twofold:
1. Support the Environmental Learning Center with
fundraising activities for environmental education materials, programs,
and support resources for the new building;
2. Provide volunteer efforts to support the Center's
environmental education programs and activities for children, teens
and adults. The Coalition is open to public membership on an annual
basis, and is run by a volunteer board elected by the members.
